Extra dots in the filename make protector think you are attacking the website. Check the formatting of the filename. It should be formatted as filename.ext
for example killifish.jpg

If you are a paid member of ALA and weren't added to the ALA Member's group when your account was activated, put in a trouble ticket (also available via the left menu: ToDo link)

Click Gallery on the options on the left of the home page
Click My Gallery on the options on top, just to the right of Gallery Your album should have three boxes beneath it: Delete, Properties, edit pics. Choose Edit pics Delete removes the entire album, Properties takes you to General settings where you can change the album description, viewing permissions, etc that were described up in #5 -12. Within edit pics you can change titles, edit picture description, move pictures among albums, etc.

Go to the web page and make sure you are logged in and have ALA Member status
Click User Profile in the menu options on the left of the home page to view your status. Look at "Rank" near the bottom of the page. You need to be an ALA Member to create albums. Click Gallery on the options on the left of the home page Click the box that says “Create/modify my albums†This will bring up a box of albums. If this is your first album it will be empty. Click New Album An album named New Album will appear in the listing box and in a editable box below Name the album by editing the “new album†in the small box beneath the list. The name in the Listing Box should change to the new name Click Apply Modification If it asks you is it OK to make these changes, Click the OK Click "Continue" to work on your album You have created an album. The album is there (with no content) and you can go back and modify it at any time Go to the Gallery Page and click "Modify my Albums" This will bring an "Update my Album" page Type in an album description and click "Update Album" None of your changes are saved until you click "Update Album" You can next set your album thumbnail but I suggest skipping this until later. You can choose a generic picture or a picture you have already uploaded. I always go back and fix this after I have loaded the album pictures. Next you can set permissions. An ALA Member can choose among allowing the public to view, allowing only ALA members to view and allowing only the member him or herself to view The only allowing him or herself to view option allows a person to build and edit an album over time then show it to other people. It takes me several days to upload pictures, type in captions, order photographs, etc. and I don't necessarily want people seeing the draft versions of the album. Select "Me Only" and click "Update Album" You can choose to allow "Visitors can post comments" or "Visitors can rate pictures" any way you wish and click "Update Album" Click "Upload Picture" on the top, to the right of "Galleries" title To upload a file from your hard drive, go to Picture, move across and click "Browse", then select the file Note that there is a size limitation per picture of __??__ kilobytes. Only certain file types, such as jpg, png ang gif may be uploaded Click in the white space next to the Picture Title box and type in a short title In the white box below the picture description type in whatever you wish to say about the picture. Clicking the preview button only lets you see what the description text will look like, not the picture To upload your picture click submit at the bottom of the page Hopefully you will get a "picture successfully uploaded" message If you want to upload more than one picture at a time you can now click upload more pictures. How do I add a bunch of pictures at once? Don't try Batch Upload, it doesn't work. You have to "upload picture", upload one then go to "upload more pictures" where you can do four at a time.
