Is anyone else getting the book 'A Selection of Freshwater Biotopes of Mexico'? It's due out ~May 1st, and is 44 Euros, whatever that will be on the 1st, plus shipping. It is not currently on Amazon.com, which is not surprising.
Some of the proceeds will be going to the Aqualab at Morelia.
It appears to be specifically written around the biotopes, as opposed to individual species, so it may be useful for water quality, biotope data, and conspecifics.

I've asked Mike Schadle if he's going to carry it. I should hear back from him this week.

Sounds like it might be a great addition to my library.

I would appreciate hearing if Mike Schadle will be selling this book. It looks fascinating and I would have ordered it directly from the authors for $81, but I found ewire (Danish PayPal) a little too intimidating. The website said that book shops might get a discount.

Mike said he would be order some. Don't know where he is in the process since he just got home after the Convention and he has a day job that interfers with his hobby and sidelines.
