Hello All,

I have been looking for Girardinichthys multiradiatus for some time now, and I haven't had any luck finding any available. Is anyone out there working with them? I live in Goleta, CA (basically Santa Barbara), and I think they would do well in this cool climate. I have a couple of large tanks with good algae growth set up on a shady patio here, now I just need the fish. Also, I've done quite a bit of research about their care/breeding, but I'd love to hear about anyone's experiences with them.

Thanks for looking,
Dan Hodnett

Dear Dan,

There are Girardinichthys multiradiatus for sale in the classified area. However you have to be an ALA member.

The join/renew page has proven to be a lot harder to make than I expected so there isn't an easy online way to join right now.

Good luck,

Earl

Also, try www.aquabid.com they run their website the way ebay does it but they only sell fish and fish related stuff.

All right guys, you've convinced me. I sent of my membership form and check to Timothy today. Actually, I've been meaning to join up for a few years now, I guess I just needed a nudge in the right direction.

See you around,
Dan Hodnett

Dear FishFolk,

I'll be sending Dan the Sailfin Goodeids after Labor Day. We have a new ALA member.

Best wishes,

Earl

Dear Alex,

I don't have a good picture of the Sailfin Goodeid. However, google them, there are some good pictures online. These fish only grow to 1.5 - 2".

Best wishes,

Earl

Nice to see another NorCal face around here. Yeah, aside from a few days out of the year, goodeids really thrive in this cool costal weather.

p.s., is there anyone I could possibly paypal membership dues to? Or is it exclusively mail order only?
