You want to keep location and collection date on those fish Arzerkle. Each fish keeper that has that information on wild fish should know where they were collected. That way if you ever sell the fish, you can include that information so that people don't accidentally mix fish from different locations. It is something that is just starting to catch on with livebearers but location and collection data are almost traditional with killie people.

Actually,, we've been tagging collections since the '70s; though not all people use the tags since most collections have become 'livebearers' through generations of being in the hobby. Still, some of us do keep the information, and as new collections are made [and that is the real key, since more collections and sites are being done].

Though, unless I know the person, I am suspect of almost all taggins, sicne data has a way of being garbled through time and people. Sadly.
