Lol, turtles huh? What kind of turtles do you have? If your tank is big enough I would think you could keep fast moving fish like zebra danios. I would worry that anything slow, including large fish, might become a midnight snack for them.

I have no clue what type of turtles they are but I do know that they have red stripes on their faces and their shells are green they are the types of turtles that they used for the Turtle Dock packaging.

Probably red eared sliders but I am not a turtle expert by any means.

Yes it does! I don't think that I will be keeping fish with the turtles provided that I found out that one of their primary foods is fish.

Depending upon the species, they may not eat fish. I used to keep turtles in with my predominantly cichlid tank without a problem--they ate chopped up beefheart and lettuce.

All depends on the species and the size of everything.

If it's a red ear slider, I know they do eat fish, but may also accept regular "turtle food" from pet stores. A buddy of mine has 2 of them and they love the occasional feeder fish, but will take the pellets, but they are from a store, so that will have some affect as to what they eat as well.

Maybe if you could get them to eat a little catnip, or something similar, they would be too lazy to eat any of the fish.
