I asked about these guys awhile back because they seemed to be taking forever for me to tell if they were male or female.

Well, time has passed, and I have 6 gorgeous males! I haven't had any luck finding females.

I found one person who has about 40 fry, and when they are ready I can get some of those...

My question is, how long do these fish live? If I have fully adult males now, will they live long enough to await some females who are fry now?

If not, does anyone know of a source for females of these fish that is not sold out?

You might try Eric Hanneman in Raleigh NC. Contact him through the Raleigh Aquarium Club. I think I saw on their forum that he had some to find a home for.
