Hello all,

I have a decent size collection of magazines ranging from the 30s up to recently. Would it be ok to scan in some older articles about livebearers? like older as in 30s-80s? maybe 90s? Again not the whole magazine just articles about livebearers there are quite a bit if I remember correctly

Thanks

Remember I am not a lawyer but. . .

It depends on what you want to do. If the publication is still around, such as TFH, then they own the article, no matter how old, and you would need to get permission from them. I have lots of old TFH magazines, they are interesting to read.

If the publication is no longer around then you are probably all right, especially if it is for your personal use or reprinting in a club publication. Just make sure you give them credit.

Hopefully, someone else can add to this.
