Hi Harry, "Anti-leeching" is a way of keeping people from directly linking to our downloads. I just tested it and that is the first time I've ever seen the text of that Anti-leeching page. I didn't write it, it is part of the module but they don't tell you what it says. Please do not take it personally. I'll re-write the text to a slightly friendlier message.
Thanks Troy I just downloaded the newsletter and it worked fine. I'm curious is the newsletter published in an e-version or a paper copy. The Aquarium Club of Lancaster County went all electronic the other year, and that worked pretty well.
So far the publications are sent mainly using snail mail. As the publisher of the Trader I asked for electronic distribution about a year ago and my request was denied. I did get to publish a non-standard version of the Trader at that time but it was definitely not a standard version for publication. (I had formatted it for reproduction on 8 1/2 by 11 paper instead of as a booklet.)At last year's convention, the board upheld the decision to keep the Trader as paper only. We are again discussing how to publish our various publications at this year's convention, yes I will raise the subject again, and I would welcome any and all input into the subject. Please keep in mind that some of our members don't even come on line here to read what the forum posts have to say when you are commenting. That means that an electronic version of anything would be just like it was never published to those people.
