Well it's almost the big day, for those who celebrate.  Are you expecting to have a merry fishmas?  Did you hint at the fish store?  Or do you just buy something for yourself?

I hint broadly for fish store gift cards.  We have 'Boxing Day' sales on December 26th here in the great white North, much like the US Black Friday.  Gift cards mean I get another Christmas on the 26th.

Have a safe, peaceful and magical holiday season!

I don't think I am wishing for any fish (my tanks are overflowing with fish) but I am wishing a second one of my female Allodontichthys tamazulae is gravid (I should know for sure by Christmas) and the first gives birth to healthy fry in the next couple of weeks.

That would make this a very merry fishmas in deed.

We will hope with you then - that's gotta help!   Let us know how it goes, if you would please.

I didn't want fish this year. Every time I get fish I have to return them because I'll get a saltwater fish that won't last a day in my tanks (I keep snowflake eels). Instead I asked for a Canon Rebel XS or an MSi Radeon 6870 Hawk.

Nobody has too many fish, they have too few aquariums.

I'm wishing for waders so I can collect my own fish now that I'm living in the southeast.

Merry Christmas

I tried to post this earlier but the website wouldn't accept my photo, however, I seem to be back in business now.

I got my second wish of healthy tamazulae fry but not my first wish of a second gravid female.

The photo is of one fry that was born on 12-26. The fry were born on 12-25 & 12-26. I beleive there are 15 total and they seem to be in great shape.
