I bought an aquarium livebearers auction about a month ago, these were sold as Heterandria formosa, but these are not this species. I can not get the guy I bought them by either: (

Males are incredibly small, much smaller than females about half. It is long in the body, orange and light orange in a bit heavily at times. It has the tiger stripes on the body and dorsal fin sits pretty far back on the body, would like to know what this species is called, you have any suggestions so please email me or add a picture?.

Are you sure its not the yellow form of Heterandria Formosa?

Almost impossible to tell without a photo, but it could be Neoheterandria elegans?

Anyone know if you Heterandria Formosa and Neoheterandria Elegans can breed with each other if put in the same tank?

I just know the golden one and the normal do I don't know about the elegans?
