The server was moved today earlier than scheduled.
It's back up now, but now it looks like I need to go figure out why the template's not happy.

It is not being cooperative. I gave up about 3am. I'm fixing to start in again. The site has a new IP address and for some reason the template keeps looking for files on the old IP.

Still no reply on the xoops support forum as to why the other template was being cranky, so I installed another one. It seems ok, but I still can't get it to display posts. so I gave up and told it to display recently replied to topics.

Why does software have to be such a pain!

Crap. The only other forum I visit that uses Xoops is the AKA forum, and I had problems with the fancy page format causing strange screen changes. This one hadn't done that before, but it's doing it now.

The admin over there insists that it's only an issue for users of IE8. Are you people conspiring to try and make me switch to another browser?

Actually I just picked a theme that looked clean and easy to modify. didn't notice the page transitions initially. I'm not totally happy with it either because it's displaying the recent threads on every page, not just the home page.

So what's it doing specifically?

I'll see if I can make the page transitions go away.

That was amazingly cooperative. The transition effects should be gone now.

Is anything else weird happening for anyone?
