i think i'll be getting there around 8 or so. its about 40 minutes from the north side of town. hoping to get the van unloaded and get my bowl show stuff running before the collecting trip. pop by the vendor room and you can catch us all there. i think its the great lakes room or something like that. if we're lucky i'll have the signs up that morning too.
You'll be able to 'soak' a lot of it up. Almost everyone is willing to talk until the 'wee hours', and it's almost a nonstop social session of interaction and learning.
One of the vendors made the effort to specifically order in lots of very nice fancy fish from commercial enterprises that are seldom or never seen here. I am sure they could be available in some places but bread and butter fish that are fancier than usual would not sell well to the general public here so are never stocked. They have been selling like hotcakes to people who are into the fancies instead of wild types. Last night's talk about some of the basics of livebearers called "Livebearers I have Known" was a great success for me. My wife is along and her basic concept is that the fish can be nice to look at but she doesn't even feed them. She came away with a basic understanding of why I do some of he things that I do.
I sat down to do bills yesterday, and realized I didn't have enough money to be able to drive down even for Saturday. I am extremely bummed out right now. If I should win the lottery tonight I could still make the auction, but otherwise I obviously can't go for that, either.
