Hello,

I am about to mail in both my registration form and payment, yet I do have a few questions in regards to show entries as it is the first time I will show fish at ALA convention.

1) Are tanks/aquaria provided?
If not what tank standard/size are required.
I am planning around 10 entries all in Fancy swords.

2) What is the schedule for show entries? Time in, and out...

Thank you,

Sincerely,

Karl

Hi Karl

Tanks are provided. You will be able to put your fish in the show starting on friday noon or so. We are going to try to get the room set-up by Thursday evening. We really got lucky with the show tanks and managed to get some really nice ZooMed 2 gal Betta tanks. They look really great. And will show off any fish. The show tear-down will have to be done on Sunday morn before the auction, by noon at the latest.

Thanks

Ron

Hi,
I am excited to hear that you are bringing that many entries! Rest assured that there will be plenty of 2-gallon tanks to go around. You are welcome to bring our own tanks, up to 5.5 gallon size, and water, but I know that the show committee will have treated water and we'll supply air. So bring some air line and air stones.

Good morning Ron,
Thanks for the info. I've just mailed you the form and payment this morning (for both entries and speakers), you should receive it by tomorrow.
Tanks being provided is indeed a big plus.

Incidentally, If needed, I wish to offer my help on Saturday and/or Sunday (as well as my 12 year old son's). We live in Coconut Grove, 20 mns drive from Fort Lauderdale.
Just let me know.
Thanks,

Karl

Hello Rit,

I am also exited about this year's convention happening right in our backyard so to speak.
This will be my second ALA convention and there is just no way I would miss this one

Thanks to all of you whose dedication and hardwork made it happen.

Karl

Karl,

I wish that I could be there to see your nice Hifin Swordtails in "person".

Good luck!

Darrell

Thanks Darrell.
If you could have made it to this one, it would have been great. You would have been our guest in our house.
I am looking forward for you to getting back to breeding fancy Xyphorus.
Take care,

Karl
