My name is Joe and I'm in the Fort Myers Florida area. Been inthe hobby for about 30 years and worked with mollies and swordtails for a long time. I gave up those two species to focus my efforts on obtaining and breeding several species in the goodied family.

So far I have two of the more readily available species Ameca splendens and Chapalichthys pardalis. The latter is a young par that just dropped the first fry. I look forward to exchanging information with others here that are working with these fish.

Why not join us at Fort Lauderdale this year Joe? I will be there from over 1500 miles away and would never even think of missing a convention as close as this one is to you. Last year I only had to drive for about 8 hours to reach the convention but this year I will spend a night on the road to get there. The conventions are well worth the effort for any hobbyist.
I am even considering attending the killie fish convention this year because it will only be about 3 hours away from my home. Who could resist learning about a whole new group of fish when ti is that accessible.
