I was wondering what gear will be needed for the collection Trip? Will a net be provided or should I bring my own collapseable net?

Also are there any provisions for the fish caught? Will there be a bucket or bags provided to get the fish back to the hotel rooms?

Will it be up to us to keep them alive in the hotel rooms until Sunday when they can be shipped out?


Just wondering if I need to pack airpumps and a cycled sponge filter or two.

I just book my plane tickets and am getting ready to register for the convention.

I see that I can register for $75 for the following:
Speakers
T-Shirt
Banquet
BBQ

Of those things we're only interested in the Speakers and T-shirt.

On the Registration Page I can choose speaker only for $35.

I'm wanting to confirm that choosing speaker only + buying a T-shirt will will save me money but give me access to everything that the $75 registration would minus the banquet and BBQ.

We plan to also attend the Thursday and Friday day trips. I assume these can both be added to either the speaker only registration or the $75 registration?

I'm trying to balance Fish time with Girlfriend time. So going out to eat and doing things other than fish during the dinners.

It would appear we would save $40 each person since we're planning to not attend the banquet and BBQ.
