i was just looking thru the list of new users who have registered, but have not been activated. It looks to me like most are spammers, however, there are a few mixed in with what appear to be real names listed. So I'm going thru and selectively actvating those that look like real people.
I'm sure I already screwed up on a couple, so be on the lookout for spammers showing up. I'll try and keep an eye out (I think Earl's out of pocket at the moment), so if you see one, e-mail me at dataguru at dataguru dot org

I just added a subscriptions module that we plan to see if will work for doing ALA memberships. It's just for development purposes at the moment, so ignore it for now.

Oh cool.
Yea, it would be nice to have the TOC in the public area where the search engines would pick it up and keep the pdfs in a member's only area.
Setting up the pages for the TOCs wouldn't be difficult and you could do that part Melody.
I'll hafta look into what it will take to upload the pdfs. There may be a way to do that from the XOOPS CMS. We could use a robots file to keep the search engine bots out of the folder the pdf files were stored in.
