I thought the e-Trader was going to be on the website. Am I missing it? Or will it be input later?

Starting in June, I will be responsible for putting out the paper "Trader". I will definitely be putting an electronic copy of the "Trader" on this website with each issue.

I haven't heard any discussion yet as to whether we will load an advertisement module on the website and have everyone post their own ads online.

In the next few weeks I will be putting out a call for ads for the June edition of the "Trader".

Does anyone have a listing of the species that went to auction so that we can see what was missed?

I will be anxious to see if you get a response to this request. I actually brought my laptop to the auction with the intention of keeping just such a list, but I didn't even make it through the initial donation items before I gave up.

I think I heard that some organizations actually record buyers and sellers along with the species so that they have a contact list when someone asks about the availability of a fish at a later date.

My guess is that the ALA doesn't keep such records. If not, would it be worth while to start a thread where people can list the species that they remember from the auction? I can probably come up with 90% of the goodeids that were offered, but probably less than 20% of the non-goodeids.

I've asked Mike Schadle if he's going to carry it. I should hear back from him this week.

I would appreciate hearing if Mike Schadle will be selling this book. It looks fascinating and I would have ordered it directly from the authors for $81, but I found ewire (Danish PayPal) a little too intimidating. The website said that book shops might get a discount.

I couldn't find it. Where will it be available?

Being predominantly interested in Goodeidae, my favorite book is Freshwater Fishes of Mexico by Robert Rush Miller. My favorite aspect of the book is the inclusion of distribution maps for each species.

I'm not having any issues with the About ALA sidebar.

The information there looks very nice by the way.

Hi John,

I am definitely interested in buying Girardinichthys viviparus. I will try to find you at the convention.
