Hi Gerard ,sorry for the mistake.I also had raised Hybred sailfin mollies back in the early 60s and from what I can remember they were also very nice.Have always had a tank in my LFS that had Sailfin Mollies for sale. But most of them had good sailfins but they were like Latipinna or Petenensis sailfins. What I like about the ones that I'm working with now is they have enormous sailfins similer to Velifera.Have a male with a sail so large in relation to his body size he looks strange. Can't get a good picture of him.

The same friend who picked up that pigeon blood sailfin male for me “Vinny“, sent me a picture of another male that he kept for himself. When I first seen this male I didn’t think too much about him. His dorsal fin at that time was small . But my friend keep telling me he’s got to grow ,He’s going to be great. My friend vinny/vinman was right .This male really improved in the last few weeks.

Hey Devon, My oldest son was over the house yesterday with the grandkids. He works in Manhattan ,He designs websites for large companies. He’s got a great job. When he was growing up ,I always told him he’s wasting his time on that computer playing games , he was always drawing pictures .I would tell him ,come with me and help me build homes for people. My wife would argue with me ,”let him be ! ’She would say ,I don’t want him working in Construction ! I never listened to her ,I made him work with me from a young boy ,just like I learned. But his heart was not into construction ,So he followed his dream and now he is able to do what he always dreamed of doing. But he still knows how to build a home ,I made sure of that !!!
He wants to design a website for me. But this Monday I have an appointment to look at a new store .I’m thinking of opening a LFS again. The last one I had I sold when I moved out of that area. If I decide to take it my days on this computer are over. I won’t have time for this.

Hey Gerald, Adrian is a good guy to deal with for livebearers , He’s a good friend .I think he’s a member of the ALA.I talked to him a few months ago about a beautiful sailfin wag male I had stumbled upon, and I was looking for a few female, to breed him with .Adrian is the type of friend who puts the best fish he has in a box and sends them to you, and then tells you” When you get some fry send me some”. LOL . I’m a lucky man to have a friend like Adrian .So I got a box from him loaded with some of the most beautiful Mollies. I only wish I knew a little more about computers. I would love to put a video of my sailfins matting !!!The males dance and twirl around the females ,the females seem hypnotized or maybe just fascinated by the way the male moves ,its so bountiful to watch, I would love to share it with everyone on the ALA..

The female came from Adrian ,the male came from another friend .He picked him up from a local fish wholesaler .Had to hold for me for a couple of days and the only tank he had to hold him in was full of African Cichlids (A nasty Bunch). One of them took a bite out of his tail. He just came out of Quarantine , his tail is almost all healed .Waste no time in matting him .and put him with the albino female that day. She had given me a nice drop of Albino young about 4 days before this.

Hey Al, I think Maracyn/Maracyn 2 is a great choice. I really like this medication and have used it many times with success. Hey man ! we all make mistakes, the secrets is to learn from them and try not to repeat them.

Old Man, this is one instance where I hope your right, and I‘m wrong. It just could be a overfed guppy. Below is a picture of one of my young blue males, that is overweight. I have since that picture put him on a diet LOL. Al, your guppies color is Mosaic Tuxedo.
