Mike I think its great what your doing and if I could help you in any way i will.You could use any of my pictures and will work on getting a few pictures of my fish room. "gupple" I like it,That's my partner in crime.

I feed golden pearls to all my swords,young and old and I never had a problem.I use the 500-800 Microns.

Here in NY it is around 85.I'm also thinking of setting up a pond with swordtails but worried about the drop in temperature at night 50s.

I have a friend who is working on just that ,for a while now.I have given him virgin female guppies a few times now with no luck.last week he did get some fry out of one of the guppy females.He has guppy females with molly males ,with no other fish in the tank.I took a look at the babies and they look like molly babies.I'm going to his house today to pick up some other fish ,I will check on his progress and let you know.

I love breeding fish that you can improve and change.Here are some strains of guppies and swords that I've been breeding.The last picture is a new strain I've developed ,trying to think of a new name for it.
