I think 21 days would be the ideal amount of time to leave a classified ad up. This way if someone went on vacation (Holiday),they still would have time to see the add and respond.

Darrell, I am an ALA member and I am always glad to help.
There is something going awry, I took over as Editor of the BLA last year and I have got articles from ALA members and scientists including Michi Tobler who was funded by the Vern Parish fund. You guys all seem to be really willing to contribute but I guess you are just not getting asked.
I think you are making too much work for yourself. 6 a year is too many, we do 4 and that is hard work; we have also introduced emembership which has drastically reduced the printing and postage costs and time.

Yup Betty, I would say that 28 days would be better as most people go on holiday for 14 days, but few go on holiday for 28.

Right now the classified ads are set to expire in 14 days. Should that be longer?
