Thanks for the information! I purchased three other girls from a chain pet store and they all are pregnant (they are in a different tank.) Is it safe to feed them the parasite food while they're pregnant or should I wait?

Yes, the eye thing is a real head scratcher & it is ugly. Every morning, I half expect to wake up and find her dying. I wonder now if it might be parasite related.

I am using marine salt. I had it pretty salty then did a water change and just left it there as I'm not trusting my hydrometer right now.

Okay, I'm off to the pet store for parasite food. Thanks again!

P.S. I started off with a little 12 gallon that the pet store practically gave me (a $100 tank for $29, who could pass that up?) Now I have that, a 29 gallon, and a small 2.5 gallon. Now I'm looking at a little 10 gallon for a quarantine tank. I was planning on the 12 gallon to be the quarantine tank but now it's a sick tank, geesh! I can see this hobby taking over the house if you let it, ha!
