That is not a variatus. The body is too deep, and I have never heard of wag being introduced to any variatus line. It is a maculatus strain, I would call it whatever they called it, although I would have added Wag to the variety name. The Blue and Red are in an interesting pattern, but I am not that knowledgeable in Platy genes, though I am familiar with a few that have been passed to Swordtails.
