cymrycat, you will probably have more fry survive as you go on if the platies and tetras don't get them. My guppy tank always looks a lot like this because after a while there are survivors from every drop. With a mixed age tank full of guppies, most fish ignore the fry but some still get eaten.

I sell of many of the adults every few months at club auctions and leave the rest to refill the tank.
