Early Registration Deadline Extended!!

Hi Everyone,
In an effort to make 2012 the year of the biggest ALA Convention ever, I have talked the folks at Gold Coast Aquarium Society, the host club, to extend the next early discount period to 4/1/2012. We have had such a great response to the convention that we wanted to make more people happy and save them some hard cash too.
Please note that both of the side trips are sold out, and have been since 2/28, even after adding an extra van to each of the trips. And there are only 3 or 4 seats open for the Artificial Insemination workshop.

This year we are going to have seven Poster Students. If you are not familiar with this program, these graduate students will be presenting the results of their research into various areas of fish behavior and health. The students will have a large display poster to illustrate their findings, talk about what they have found and field any questions that are asked. We will have an array of venders with the big names including ZooMed, EXTREME Aquatic Foods, The Fish Factory, Select Aquatics, Jerry’s Books, The Florida Tropical Fish Farmer Assoc Coop, Hoffman Crafts, Joe’s Driftwood and Caves, Vadim’s and others.

You will really like this hotel. It is a beautiful site for a convention. The Hilton is a spacious and classy place. They have an outdoor pool with hammocks. The rooms are very nice and from the upper floors you can see the Ft Lauderdale airport, the harbor and port area.

I am really hoping you (and the family?) can join us in the Sunshine State April 26-29.
